On Wednesday night 5/21 you all heard the news. Grown-up rocker David Cook has triumphed over smooth-voiced teen David Archuleta to become the new "American Idol."
Congratulations to both of them for a job well done as Season 7 comes to a close.

FHR Radio encourages you to check out "The Angelus" a non-profit charity in central Florida who strive to provide a home for severely handicapped persons that are not able to care for themselves. Every year, they bring about the Charlie Daniels Concert which was held the weekend of Dec 1st, 2007 in Tampa at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino and the Ford Amphitheater. Several artists whose music we play took part of it such as Tyler Dickerson, Aaron Kelly and Tampa rising star Victoria K. This is the 17th annual concert put together by Charlie Daniels and The Angelus. All donations go to a worthy cause
